Barre Fitness

Lift, lengthen, and define your entire body with this fun and energetic “ballet-inspired” workout.  The ballet barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. all exercises incorporate specific stretches and flexibility training, to avoid bulk and to lengthen each muscle as they are being strengthened.

Zumba Chair

This modified Zumba class is perfect for anyone (not only seniors) with disabilities and/or are in a wheelchair or have balance issues. Use fun, gentle movements to get the blood flowing as we work on range of motion and gentle strengthening exercises.
